Now, to quote Monty Python, for something completely different.
In place of Monday Madness (for a short time at least) I've decided to grace you humble viewers with a series of vlogs. What about? VOICE. CHARACTER. It seems to be my strong point and I want to share with you why I believe that is and how you can use that information.
So, here's VLOG #1, in which I introduce my theory:
You did not make a fool of yourself ;) Love your vlog and the courage it took to do it! Looking forward to how to get into character next Monday.
ReplyDeleteGreat vlog! I am not as brave, however. But I'm so glad you posted this!
ReplyDeleteCatherine - Thank you! Now I'm committed. Lets just hope it's the good kind of committed...
ReplyDeleteLydia - :D Hopefully it will be helpful.
Very nice! I'm impressed :)
ReplyDeleteVoice is so important - I agree there are different voices in the ms. Each character has to be distinct.
Ha! Thanks Jemi. We'll see what happens after my next few vlogs..
ReplyDeleteHey, I know that girl! Awesome vlog about awesome voice!
ReplyDeleteJulie- Darn! My disguise didn't work! Foiled again.
ReplyDeleteVery well done, Lisa! No foolish person here. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat tips, too. Look forward to the examples you'll share with us. Thanks!
Marisa - thanks! Hope I don't disappoint
ReplyDeleteGreat vlog with some great points! I have a drama background and find it incredibly helpful when writing.
ReplyDeleteWay to go for being brave, and looking forward to more vlogs!
Thanks Kelly! Like I said, it seems to be a common trait among us writers. Pretty interesting.
ReplyDeleteI have to wait until next Monday???
ReplyDeleteI will be eagerly awaiting.
Sorry Margo! Didn't mean for it to be such a teaser! :D Glad you'll hang in there with me.
