I think it is a difficult technique to master. My favorite such story is Surfacing by Margaret Atwood. I read it 25 years ago and it still blows my mind. I agree, you shouldn't hide info...Great advice! I agree, you shouldn't hide information from readers just to keep certain twists shocking. There are so many ways to plant clues that will only seem obvious during re-reads, so why not go that route instead of angering readers with deliberate information exclusion?Heather R.
