I've got kids reading on e-readers, ipods and laptops as well as with 'real' books during independent reading time. I've seen authors sign with agents, get book deals, lose agent, self publish, do nothing. This career path isn't easy and no matter how we go about it - it's hard work!! I do enjoy the technology and email!

I read mostly ebooks and print books from my library. I rarely purchase them anymore. I've got too many stacks!!Laura Paulinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06503090226508079501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6734108232999147338.post-43559123732416726002014-01-13T12:15:57.316-08:002014-01-13T12:15:57.316-08:00Funny, I just filled out a SASE for a literary mag...Funny, I just filled out a SASE for a literary magazine and was thinking about what an anachronism it is...but maybe not quite since we're still doing it.Johanna Garthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15515478890074610814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6734108232999147338.post-4046943886529766432014-01-13T07:08:11.396-08:002014-01-13T07:08:11.396-08:00I am glad for all the changes you mention. I still like them and many people still don't read e-books. I did a poll last year on one of my blog hop giveaways and was surprised to discover this.

Another change is that blogging isn't dying but people are definitely cutting back.Natalie Aguirrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03756087804171246660noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6734108232999147338.post-89110221744304834842014-01-13T06:32:45.724-08:002014-01-13T06:32:45.724-08:00More books and access to them is never a bad thing...More books and access to them is never a bad thing. I do hope paper books never die. I LOVE having hardcover copies of my favorites just to stare at (and re-read). The staring-at part isn't possible with ebooks. :-)Barbara Watsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06547166495514562286noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6734108232999147338.post-79103883622195599832014-01-13T04:53:39.562-08:002014-01-13T04:53:39.562-08:00I do not miss SASE at all! The biggest - more books, more reading is ALWAYS a good thing! Agreed.S.A. Larsenッhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06241633272588383935noreply@blogger.com
